Suwannee Crime Stoppers

Meth Lab Presentation

During the month of June, Crime Stoppers of Suwannee County in association with the Florida Department of Law Enforcement provided training to the employees of Suwannee Valley Electric Co-Op. Agent Robin McDaniel talked about the dangers of Meth Labs and what types of items that are left behind when a lab is relocated. Crime Stoppers sponsored the training as a part of it’s continued community awareness of possible crime in our community. The employees were given the information on how to report a crime in progress and how to report to Crime Stoppers if they come in contact with any items that they may think could be a possible lab or suspicious activity.

Many of the employees were thankful of the training, as the items that we normally see as trash and have to be removed to place lines or poles, could possibly put their lives at risk. The training was extremely successful, and we would like to thank Suwannee Valley Electric Co-Op for the facility to bring the information to them.
